What do you fish with? I had the conversation arise the other day with a friend, who thinks he's the best because he limits out alot on live bait. Well, all I fish with is Artificial and I do consider myself as an "above average" fishermen. I told him it takes 0 skill to sit and let a live croaker/shrimp catch your fish for you. With artificial you have to trick the fish to hit your bait.
Whats yall's views on the subject??

I like to fish with artificial, cause I don't like to have to mess with live bait. Buying, keeping alive, putting on the hook... ect.
But if nothing is hitting artificial, I won't hesitate to hook up a live shrimp or minner on the hook.
I am not going to pay a lot of money for a boat and not bring home the meat. That would be like drinking non-alcoholic beer.

Don't get me wrong, live shrimp is great for lesser than average fishermen and beginners, I just like a challenge. Wether I catch or not, I fish to enjoy the outdoors.

Im not talking about when I say I fish nothing but plastics, I DO NOT fish Gulp! Stuff is just like dead bait. I fish big trout during winter, and schoolies in summer. Straight up artificial.
