I have had good luck with lots of lures and live bait for Flounder, but that night nothing worked.
Sometimes they hit good on the old double Speck Rigs tipped and dragged real slow on bottom.
Sometimes a small spoon tipped and dragged real slow.
Sometimes a small bettle spin.
Sometimes Gulp or dead shrimp dragged real slow.
But my biggest Flounder have been caught on Brown's Devil Eye's bounced along the bottom.
Bigger lures usually bring bigger fish.

Can you fish anywhere around there or do they have any off limit areas around the LNG?

You can chunk a lure 50 ft.
But sometimes they think 50 ft. is 1/8 mile from the lights.
It's the security man's call.

well one night we went and got on to a few specs under the lights, but it was a woman that was patrolling and she ran us off by threatening to call the cost guard.. we had to move and didnt catch after that.. next time we go we may bring some drop lights and see if that will work..

A buddy and i fished LNG last night, we ended up with 5 specs, 5 reds, 1 flounder n a few croakers.. the water was calm and the bait fish were everywhere.. No fish were hitting the schools at all..I think it was a low tide.. anyone has an opinion why they werent hitting the schools lik normal.. were caught everything along the walls.. they didnt turn on until maybe 4:30am.. Around 5:30 there was a school of fish that were ripping through the bait fish like paranas, we threw in the school and ended up catching a gafftop.. do they school like that are the was just bad luck.. If the water is muddy or not so clear what baits should we throw..
