I'm a TX Coastal angler with family in Sulphur and in Lake Charles. I grew up fishing the reserve, hog island gully, big lake, LNG plant, choupique, burnt out bridge, etc...-thanks to my Dad who took me all those places. Best memory was us catching and releasing 52 reds one morning when I was 9yrs old. used to go crabbing at the whirpool and ellender bridge. Being a Texan, now I fish mainly in Port O Connor(called POC)

I'm bringing the boat with me and gonna hit big lake the week of Thanksgiving. Sounds like ya'll are having some luck out there. Hopefully the pattern holds or there are some fish biting later in the month. This is our local forum here in Austin http://www.austinbassfishing.com There is a recent big lake report in the saltwater reports section. also check out some of the luck we've been having with the bull reds at the jetties. Welcome to the site. Glad you like it. I was actually down in Port O Conner a few months ago for the Texas Redfish Series Championship. I stuck my boat on an oyster reef in oyster lake on my first day down there. Fun times! LOL Give me a shout if you have any info on the reds down in corpus. We have a tournament down there in a few months & we need all the help we can get.
