Firewood

I'm looking for some firewood. I don't need a bunch, a rick is plenty. Need it delivered to my house in Moss Bluff. Let me know what you got.

The parish jail used to sell it. Prisoners split it and sold it.
Not sure if they still do.

What Ray said is correct all you have to do is go and pick it up there is no delivers, you can get it dirt cheap also.

Any Idea on what the price would be?

After some looking in the phone book......I found a couple of number I may try in the morning. I could use some more wood......I have been on the lookout for some wood, but just have not seen any that I could cut up.

I got this wood a couple of years ago but most of it is burnt up now.




It was a lot of work.....but free. Split the wood with the home owner. He would never have gotten the tree cut up by him self.

Call CSP(Calcasieu Sheriffs Prison) They sell it on the farm. I called a few #'s in the paper yesterday & the prices were $120 to $125 a rick delivered to moss bluff. I can get it for $120 a cord in DeRidder but I don't have a way to haul it. I've also got 2 acres of trees behind my house that I'd really like to get cleared off. About half of it was underbrushed & there are some oaks down in there but I don't have a chainsaw or a log splitter or anything.

U cant get is any cheaper then the CSP farm. I get all mine there. Smoke come get one of my trailers. No excuses!!!!

I actually got a load for free! In my book, free is cheaper than giving the government (rather it be Federal, State or Local) a dime of my hard earned money. FWIW, I am very familiar with the wood from CSP. But that's another story for another day!
