VIDEO: Soft-Plastics 101

The No. 1 question we get asked at TTF is "Can you tell me how to fish your baits?"

You salty veterans know there isn't really a right or wrong way to fish a bait, but it's tough to explain that to someone who's trying to get their feet wet with artificials.

So I decided to go ahead and make a video showing some of the basic retrieves that I use with different baits. I can't stress enough that this video isn't meant to show you the ONLY way to fish soft-plastics, but rather just a few of the ways that will get you started.

In the video I talk about the different retrieves I use for straight-tails, paddle-tails and also go in-depth with the retrieve I prefer for the Red Killer (it's different than others).

Hopefully this helps those folks who are just starting to fish saltwater or who are trying to convert from soaking bait to throwing artificials.
