I think that no matter how much talent the players will have this year, they will all be held back by poor coaching and stupid play calling. Miles isn't getting the memo that the option doesn't work that well in the SEC.

Hopefully the coachs will trust Jefferson a bit more and not insist on sending in plays from the sidelines everytime the defense changes its look. How many delay of game penalties did that cost them last year anyway?

Hmmm maybe we can talk Bama into trading coaches with LSU? I hate to say it because he is coaching the enemy now but I don't there there is any body in college football today who is a better coach than Saban is. He just seems to be able to bring out the best in those kids.

Anyway LSU 9-3 this year with a new years bowl game.

I am hoping for a 10-2 season but 9-3 is a bit more realistic. According to the scouting reports, Jefferson has shown vast improvement over last season. The offensive line is really the biggest question going into the season. Although the defense was a huge improvement last season vs 08', 3rd & Chavis got old very fast. The debacle @ the end of the Ole Miss game last year was a cluster #%&@ of epic proportions. Was I the only person screaming snap the damn ball when the Ole Miss #9 player was running on the field. Look @ 2:06 in the video below. Seems to me if we snap the ball with him in the backfield we get a free 5 yards & plenty of time to get the field goal team on the field!

If ou want to see what LSU is rated for as grade wise this year, check out dandydon.com. I think we will have a decent year if everyone stays healthy and our incoming freshman that should get to play does. I am really looking forward to watching dem tigers!!!!
