Ducks ??????

Has anyone heard reports from Lacassine NWR, Or the upper Calcasieu river..... Looking for a place to take my 4yr old for his first duck hunt.
If momma ain't happy nobody's happy!

I haven't heard much about ducks this year. I would imagine that the cold weather is helping push them down though.

All the news reports say that the first split has been depressing.
I have talked to a few people who hunted the Calcasieu River.
Not good up there at all. But we have been getting some nice
cold fronts lately.
