Headed to the deer lease

Gulfsouth33, LaidBack & I are headed to the deer lease in the morning. We are going on a meat haul but hopefully we will come back with some horns as well. I'll post the pics & some info on the trip as soon as we return.

Hey smoke, good luck on the meat hunt! Its been about 5 yrs since I've gone on a deer hunt...use to be on a lease in Rock Springs,tx. Just a quick note ... if you and the guys don't keep the deer ribs(i know some people just throw them in a dump pile) and wouldn't mine cutting them out ... I'd have plenty of room in freezer for it...And if you guys do keep them ... good luck anyways!

Lows in the upper 60's, high's in the upper 70's + full moon = 2 deer

headed back when it's colder than a well diggers arse in antartica & a new moon!

Here is a picture that I took shortly after I shot the doe. This isn't the greatest picture but it shows the area I was hunting pretty well. You can see the doe on the ground in the middle of the photo. It doesn't look very big in the picture, it kinda looks like a gray squirrel laying there. Trust me when I tell you that it wasn't much bigger when we drug it out of the woods! LMAO

LOL! Well you know... I kinda felt bad for sarge because he didn't even see anything while he was there, so I wanted to include him in something that actually involved him getting his hands on a deer. Plus, I'm lazy & you guys looked like you enjoying dragging my trophy doe back to the truck, I really didn't want to spoil your fun.
