Humminbird 898c SI
Posted: Tue Jun 14, 2011 9:34 pmYesterday I got some free time and got to install my new Humminbird 898c SI and I have to say it is sweet. Went out today and tried it out and the photos or unreal you can see evey details on the bottom it is better than looking at the bottom through dive goggles. Tried it around the wells in the lake, around some reef, and just riding along the banks and found some very interesting things. Also if the fish or in a large enough group you can see that too. All in all the install was very easy, the transfer of waypoints even easier if you can get around a computer just a little and to use it even better, The GPS chart that came with the system included all of big lake, west cove, ICW, shipchannel all the way past the saltwater barries to the gulf and into the gulf. Really like this product and the price was even better got a great deal at the Bass Pro Shop in Baton Rouge with a little price matching. There or two units on the market that or 500 dollars apart and the only difference if the screen size one is a 7 inch and the other is a 8 inch.
