Posted: Fri Nov 11, 2011 8:21 amMy boat is at Jerry's getting a new axle, springs and fender because the axle nut backed off the axle OVER the Cotter pin and my wheel came off doing 65 on I-10 in the middle of Lake Charles. You should have seen the vehicles dodging the tire. Suggest everyone put "check the axle nut" on their routine maintenance list. May have sheared the Cotter pin but it definately came off.
