Nautic star or Blue wave pure?

If I get this new job,My wife says we can go buy a bay boat. YES!! I will be using it more in fresh than salt. Which one do you guys like?? PROS and CONS ? Just wondering. I have fam of 5. My daugher is 13,son 9 ,son 5, so ill have 5 people in the boat. Most of the time will just be me and my 2 boys. But wife said she and daughter can hang out on back deck and tan,LOL lord. So anyway I would like to spend around $35,000. I havent really priced many. new or used? I know the value drops ALOT once it goes off a lot,so Im thinking of buying a Good used one. how many hrs is to many hrs on a boat?

You can get a good deal on NEW, past year models. They usually drop 3 or 4 grand on past years models.

I looked @ both the Nautic & Blue Wave Pure Bay. The Blue Wave has a lot more room, is wider & I got a much better deal on it. If you want info on a Nautic Star, DO NOT go to Jerry's marine in Sulphur. That guy is an a$$ & I have no idea how he is able to make any money being so unfriendly.

Where did you buy your Blue wave?? and you have no problem getting threw the weir. What size and motor would you guys think I need. I would like to follow a friend out to some close by rigs. I have never been but he told me he goes out to the gulf some. so i will follow him some.

I bought mine from Lake Area Marine in Lake Charles. It's a 2009 with a 150 Suzuki 4 stroke. I got it brand new.

I am too chicken to go through the weirs with it. Still too new. Plenty of fish in the lake.

you mind me asking how much does that cost? Ur lucky to have that, beautiful boat man!! Does it have place for cast net in floor? wash down? I like the star because it has 2 jump seats in back deck for my kids,,,,but man I like your boat!!!

Mine has 2 jump seats also. Tons of storage.



I paid $38,303.50 out the door. I got depth finder, 3 batteries, 2 bank charger with outlet, 80lb minn kota trolling motor, bow ropes, & a spare tire.

Tell me about it. The best thing they have going for them over there is the new service manager. I have been to Jerry's 3 different times to look @ boat & each time I was treated as if I wasn't worthy of purchasing a boat from him. I can't figure out how the guy is still around after all these years.
