HT Cup/Series Lake Charles

The HT Cup will be in Lake Charles on May 7th & 8th. The HT Series is May 9th. Team 411 will be fishing the series tournament. Anyone else planning on fishing either one of these tournaments? I have all the info posted on the upcoming events forum.

HT CUP Day 1

Cajun Phil and Kevin Broussard are in 1st place with 16.20 pounds after day 1.

Finishing day 1 in 2nd place were BigLake411 members Skip Floyd and Paul Davidson, Jr.with 13.33 pounds.

3rd place went to Blaine Friermood and Robert Scherer with 13.05 pounds.

It should be an exciting finish tomorrow.

Final Results / Day 2

1st place - Phil and Kevin Broussard $7,000.00

2nd place - Skip Floyd and Paul Davidson, Jr. $2,000.00.

3rd place - James Taylor and Todd Williams $1,050.00.

HT Redfish Series

Team 411 was on the water yesterday competing in the HT Redfish Series tournament. We were on good fish Thursday, Friday & Saturday. The weather conditions on sunday really through us fof a loop & the big fish were just not eating. We ended up finishing in 9th place & were left wondering what happened to the monster fish we had been baby sitting all week. These guys were in the money:

1st place - Tim Young and Jason Catchings $3,000.00

2nd place - Scott Goodman and Tag Anderson $400.00

3rd place - Gary Rettig and Anthony Fountain (next event with no entry fee)

It was a good tournament. I was lucky enough to place in the top 3. I will see all that fished in Tx in Sept.

Congrats on the 3rd place finish! I didn't realize you were there or I would have said hello. Pat Malone really puts on a good tournament. I just wish we would have had more anglers in the tournament.
