WHAT IS THE BEST CLEANER TO USE ON THE HULL OF A BAY BOAT??? I FEEL LIKE EVERY TIME I TAKE IT OUT IT STAINS SO EASILY

I use the hull cleaner you get from Wal Mart and after a good cleaning I put a coat of wax on and I'm good for about six months.

Starbrite Hull Cleaner sold at Academy Sports is the best I have found. I mix it half with cleaner and water.

Starbright is good stuff; I recommend using rubber gloves when applying.

ZUD is good also. It comes as a powder that you mix with water. As ramosrecon said, it's always a good idea to wax after using these cleaners or the stains will come back again quickly.

After you wash, use 3M cleaner wax and it will help prevent scum from sticking.
It takes time, but it works good.
If you really want it to do good, after waxing, put a coat of Rejex on it.
It is a polish that repels water. I get mine at Olmsted Shipyard.

We have a white skeeter and we use mean green from dollar general $1.00 a bottle we transfer it to a spray bottle.spray it on let it sit for a few mins. And then water brush it off. Take the marsh stain right off. It's made to take rust off a toilet bowl and it works good for us.

Never use acid base cleaners yea they take it off but open up pores on Fiberglass wherever u used it unless u put. 2 coats of wax ull see yellow staining. Plus it detiorates ur fiberglass making it chalky only use unless u have to then put heavy coats of wax
